Malaria is a significant public health concern in Uganda, where it is endemic and a leading cause of illness and death. The country experiences high transmission rates, particularly during the rainy seasons when mosquito breeding is most active. Efforts to combat malaria in Uganda include the distribution of insecticide-treated mosquito nets, indoor residual spraying, and public health campaigns to raise awareness and promote preventive measures.
